Aim
This WebQuest is designed to enhance the study of the Pesach
Curriculum in the Kindergarten Classroom as well as introducing
Internet navigation. It is suggested that kindergarten children be paired with a
"buddy" from an upper grade class to assist with the reading and the
navigation of the website. Click

Rationale
WebQuests are a wonderful tool for using the Internet while
limiting and focusing where the children will search. Kindergarten
children have had six months since the start of the school year to learn
basic computer skills, (opening files, mouse clicking). By the time Pesach arrives (usually in March or
April) teaching Internet navigation is a new challenge. Pairing
knowledge of the holiday with computer skills, as well as using the
"buddy system" provides another learning opportunity.
In addition, the "buddy" students will learn communication and
cooperation skills working with younger children. Click
