Our classes are limited to 45 minute increments. You must come to class on time. If you arrive after the bell, you will be considered late. You will be required to get a late pass either from Mrs. Sarif, the teacher who has detained you, or the front office. You will not be admitted to class without a pass. |
You are expected to come to class with all required materials. See the required materials column. You will not be excused from the classroom to get any forgotten books or supplies once class has begun. All homework is to be done on time, and neatly. I will not accept any assignments that have been torn out of a spiral notebook, nor will I accept work done in ink other than blue or black. Pencil and blue or black ink only are acceptable on work that is to be handed in. |
Homework is worth 35% of your grade, and tests and quizzes are worth 55% of your grade. Classroom participation is worth the other 10% of your grade. Tests are based on notes, class discussions, worksheets, and the text being studied. Projects are graded in the same category with tests. If you have been absent for any reason, please be sure to reschedule your missed tests and assignments within a week of returning to school. Any missed assignments can be obtained by clicking on the links below each subject, and printing them off at home. |
